SoundCloud: Rediscovering Musical Joy
There’s something magical about stumbling upon a song that feels like it was made just for you. SoundCloud has been my go-to for exploring new DJ’s, discovering tracks, and curating soundscapes that fuel my creative flow. It’s more than just music—it’s a community of artists sharing their passions and connecting with listeners like me who crave something different.
Check out one of my new favorite DJ’s, Daniro, also known as, AHIGHLYSENSITIVEBLACKWOMAN. A true music powerhouse, she artfully blends tracks ranging from today’s rap queens to iconic hits from the ’90s and beyond all set to bangin’ up tempo beats with extra bass. Her mixes are a celebration of feminism, freedom, and of course her fierce style.
Chani App: Finding Zen in Chaos
Life gets hectic, but apps like the Chani App have helped me rediscover moments of peace before, during, and after my busy work day. The Chani App blends guided meditations with astrology forecasts and reports, offering a unique and blended approach to mindfulness. Whether it’s a quick 5-minute meditation, a deep dive into my birth chart, or the newly launched “sleep stories” to aid in a good night’s rest, tools like the Chani app remind me to slow down and reconnect with myself during critical moments. The app has helped empower me to show up authentically in all of my day-to-day interactions.
YouTube Workouts: Fitness, Simplified
Gone are the days of expensive gym memberships. With this economy YouTube has become my new fitness haven, with endless free workout videos catering to every style, intensity, and mood. Not to mention gyms are full of germs and I am not trying to contract the new flu, or any other bug out there. Whether it’s yoga, HIIT, or dance cardio, I’m constantly inspired by creators who make staying active accessible and fun. My personal fave- Jasmine Mays.
ChatGPT: My (Not So) Secret Content Weapon
As a strategy focused digital marketer, writing copy can be tedious—but ChatGPT has been a game-changer. Whether it’s help with editing compelling social posts, drafting customer emails, or brainstorming ideas, this tool has become an indispensable part of my creative process. In short, a lot of their automation does the heavy lifting for advertisers now.
